About Me
What would you like to know?
Hi, I'm Lucas.
In 2014, I quit my day job to pursue app and game development full time. It's been going well.
I've loved computers since I was a kid and I've been coding in one form or another since middle school. In high school, I took some programming courses and decided to make it my focus when I went to college.
In 2011, I graduated with honors from University of California: Santa Cruz, majoring in Computer Science with a focus in computer game design. For my senior project, I helped make a pretty cool iPad space shoot 'em up game called Syz E.G..
Before graduating, I secured a computer graphics engineering job with Intel. I worked there for 3 years, working on the video functionality of their integrated graphics hardware. It was a great opportunity, and I learned a lot, but I eventually decided that it wasn't for me.
I taught myself Android in my spare time, and in 2014 I left to pursue app development on my own. Since then, I've published several of my own apps and games, worked on a wide variety of freelance projects, and picked up countless new skills and areas of expertise. I believe I've done some of my best work in recent times and I'm incredibly excited for what the future holds.
See you there!
